Baby Contest- Registrations must be in no later than Friday Aug 26. Sorry, no registrations will be accepted on Saturday morning. Registrations can be picked up at Kids Junction or in advance at Toppers Pizza .1010 Talbot Street (beside Dollarama)

Kid’s Idol Registration- must be in before August 15th, 2011

Kids Idol Winners will be presented awards on Thursday evening and then return on Sunday to do a Gala performance on the Community stage 2 - 3 p.m. Gala Participants will present themselves (with a prepared 1 paragraph introduction telling about themselves) , and perform 2 numbers on the community stage. Winners then will progress to the Western Fair Competition of the Youth Talent Search in September! Good luck to all!

Pizza Eating Contest -must be 10 - 15 years of age with a parent/guardian present. Signed consent/waiver form required.

Parade Contests - Must arrive no later than 11:30 am for judging. Everyone welcome, all ages!!
Catagories include: - Best decorated trike/bike/stroller
- Best clown costume
- Best Marching group ie: kazoo band, dance troupe, karate group,baton twirlers, etc.
- Most Creative
Be creative, invite your friends and family!! Most of all...Have FUN!! Don’t forget to stick around after the parade for free Shaw’s icecream!!

Coloring Contest - pick up your entries at Toppers Pizza,1010 Talbot Street (beside Dollarama). After you color your entry drop it off at Toppers before August 26th for judging.

Iron Horse Festival presents Kids Junction as a free event each year! This year... BIGGER than ever! We offer non -stop fun and entertaining things for the younger children and their parents to enjoy together.

For the 14 and under crowd, make sure to check out our exciting contests and events! Our hours are from 11 - 8 Thurs to Saturday and 11 - 5 on Sunday (closing day)

Moms...there will be a nursing station and baby change area for your convenience.
